I trust my staff โ€” why would I need this?

Most owners say that, and most are right. This isn't about catching anyone โ€” a clean month is a good result, because then you know instead of assuming. And most of what it flags isn't theft at all: it's honest mistakes โ€” a mis-ring, wrong change, a sale forgotten in a rush. Trustworthy staff still cost you money by accident. This shows you where the till is drifting so you can fix the process, not the person.

Could it wrongly accuse one of my staff?

It can't, because it doesn't accuse โ€” it flags. When the till and the camera don't line up, you see the clip and you decide what it means. It's deliberately tuned to show you too much rather than miss things: a false flag costs you thirty seconds; a missed one costs you money. Every judgement about a person is yours, never the system's.

Where does my footage go? Who sees it?

Your recordings stay on your own recorder, exactly as they do today. When a till moment needs a look, we securely retrieve just that short window of footage, review it on our own systems, and delete it once reviewed. It's seen by our review team and no one else โ€” never a third-party cloud, and we never hold a library of your recordings. What's kept is the handful of flagged clips, for as long as you need them โ€” and nothing after you leave, unless you ask. All of it is set out in a written data agreement.

Is this legal? Do I need my staff's consent?

You already record โ€” this reads footage you've already got against your till records. It's loss prevention on till events, on the same footing as your existing cameras, and built to be GDPR- and ICO-friendly. Staff need to be told monitoring is in place โ€” most shops already have the notice up, and we provide the notices and signage as part of setup.

Will it work with my till and my cameras?

Almost certainly. Modern till systems already keep the records we need โ€” the sales, voids and no-sales you see on your end-of-day report โ€” and we read those without changing anything. For the camera, we use yours โ€” almost any camera with a view of the till works โ€” and if none covers it, we supply and fit one at no charge. Either way we confirm your setup is a fit in a two-minute call before anything is booked โ€” and if it isn't, we'll tell you straight.

Will it interfere with my till or slow down service?

No. It reads the records your till already keeps โ€” the same sales, voids and cash entries you see on your end-of-day report. Read-only: it can't ring a sale, change a price, or touch your money. Your till and your cameras work exactly as they do today, and there's nothing for your staff to do differently.

What if it flags loads of things and wastes my time?

The design is a short list โ€” the handful of moments worth a look, not a pile. Everyday legitimate activity is filtered out automatically, and our team checks what's left before anything reaches you. If it can't give you a short list, it isn't doing its job โ€” and we'd tell you.
